Everybody just hates me!!! Wahhhhh, boooooo, *sob*

I'll give you a prize if you can guess who that quote comes from!!!

You KNOW you know.

I'm not even going to say her name - I can't handle her ugly cries and  her "You don't even KNOW - I'm going to come back with Excalibur and that sword is UNDEFEATED" comments anymore (oh, and have you ever noticed how her lips really don't move?  Like she talks like she was just injected with 5 rounds of Novocaine).

The nicest girl on the show can't even handle her.

Oh I'm talking about Big Brother BTW.  Of which I have you all to thank for peer pressuring me into watching (specifically Janette because she's who I caved for).

The drama, the sobbing, the back stabbing - how I wish my life was that exciting!

And don't even get me started on Bachelor Pad.  I was only half watching Sunday because let's face it, 3 hours of "The Vienna Show" is a little too long, even for me.  However, it all looks pretty epic - I mean her boyfriend's legs were BLUE and she's all, "you don't love me because you didn't sacrifice your legs so that I could win".

I'm not much of a TV watcher if you can believe it.

I am however a game player.  I play all kinds of games, board games, computer games, card games, console games...you name it.  I don't consider myself a "hardcore" gamer anymore because I really don't have time for that, but there was one point not too long ago where I definitely told friends, "Can't go to the bar tonight, I have to raid".

Only certain people will get that, for the rest of you, it's probably a blessing that you don't get it, haha

With all that said, I've been sucked into a new game called Minecraft.  It's a really simple concept.  You've got a giant world to roam around in, collecting resources and mining but at night monsters come out so you best find a place to hide or build yourself some kind of sweet living space.  As someone who plays The Sims simply to build houses, this is right up my alley and has been a huge time sink for me - I'll admit, it's kind of made me a bad blogger.

On another note, I celebrated a birthday this week.  My TWENTY-SIXTH birthday.  I'm closer to 30 than 20 now, I'm pretty sure I'm in another tax bracket and I'm still waiting on that car insurance discount that everyone told me I'd get when I turned 25.

Have you ever noticed how many August birthdays there are?  I mean in my family alone there are like 5, and most of them fall onto this week.  And as I've been reading my usual blogs (I might not have commented, but I'm still reading you all!!!) I've noticed a lot of YOU all have birthdays in August too!  My goodness, people get frisky in those winter months!

So in celebration of us August babies (and for the rest of you not cool enough to be born in the hottest month of the year....literally) I'll be hosting some giveaways in the next few weeks!  One of them is coming up VERY SOON and you'll have to check back for more details!!

I hope everyone is having a great week - I'm off to do some much needed blog hopping!

I'm a BB fan, but my sattelite dish has been wonky for weeks so I'm outta the loop...spending most of my time watching Friends, True Blood, and The Big Bang Theory on DVD!

Happy Birthday girl!! Hope your 26th is the best yet!! :)

Happy Belated Birthday, Amber. I hope it was a good one!

I'm not much of a TV watcher either. America's Got Talent is usually a show I watch and I lost all interest in it this year. Covert Affairs is the only tv I watch right now and the summer finale was this week so I won't be watching tv until it comes back this fall. We do watch 24 though. WE went back and started watching it from the beginning and watch that a couple times a week.

Rachel! I guessed it right! I know I did!!!! UGH, I can not stand her! And what is that one dude thinking, going on the block willingly and WANTING to be voted off. (I can't remember his name, but it starts with an L). I swear, gay black men on this show make stupid moves! (Referring to another dude that one the Veto while on the block and didn't use it. He was voted off that week)

And my birthday is next week!!!! I'll be 28. That scares the #*$@ out of me!

Happy Birthday.

My first pregnancy would have been an August baby.

I love Bachelor Pad. But don't tell anyone.

I don't watch Bachelor Pad, but this chick sounds like she's not playing with a full deck. Maybe she should hook up with Charlie Sheen.

Happy belated birthday!!

Happy Birthday Month!!! =)

I'm in love with all things trashy on tv and BP and BB top the list. I can't get enough!! Good for Janette and her peer pressuring ways!!!!

I can't stand Rachel or Vienna but they make the shows kind of interesting!

Aren't you just THRILLED that Brendan is back in the game?!? Jeez...I would have died to have seen Rachel and Brendan competing against each other to win their way back into the house. Brendan's such a baby though - he probably would have let her win it. I am NEVER getting myself sucked into another 3-hour a week show again!

Oh, and happy birthday!!!! :o) 26 is still REALLY young! I've decided that no one is old until they're 50. And when I'm 40, that number will change to 60 or 70 or something. :o)
