WWTK Wednesday

It's Wednesday and that means it's time to link up with some of my favorite ladies who host We Want To Know Wednesday!  This week's questions are brought to you by Impulsive Addict!

{1} What was the last thing you searched for online?

Oh, I'm constantly searching for stuff on the Internet.  It's how I stay occupied.  I also have pretty hardcore Adult ADD (I'm pretty sure) so one minute I'll be looking up celebrity gossip and the next minute I'm looking up how knit videos.

{2} If we visit your home state, what is one thing we MUST do before leaving?

Visit me of course!!!

I guess most people would say visit NYC, but that's why most people come to NY and to be honest, I'm not a fan.  Give me Boston any day.  NYC is too compact, too many high buildings, too many cars...yuck.  Aside from visiting me I'd say go into the Adirondack Park, Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Schroon Lake, the High Peaks Region...those are my favorite places. :)

{3} What do you think pharmaceutical companies should invent a pill for that isn't on the market yet?

A pill for ambition.  I feel like I would be ruling the world right now if I had the ambition to do so.

{4} When was your first kiss? Was it good or bad? (Hey part of this question is from ME!)

I was 16 when I had my first kiss, or maybe 17.  If I was 17 it wasn't too far after my 17th birthday...I don't really remember.  I was a late bloomer I guess.  It was fine, it was kind of awkward.  I'm a pretty awkward person, haha  Obviously it got better because I still kiss that boy every chance I get!

{5} What is your guilty pleasure TV show that you can never miss?

Well it was Make It or Break It, which I'm probably going to go back and watch again so that Brandy and I can have some serious hardcore conversations about it, but for shows that are currently on - I never miss The Bachelorette.  Even though Ashley is such a train wreck, I can't stop watching.

Take a break from whatever it is you are or aren't doing and click the button below to link up!  This link up is brought to you by Impulsive AddictJanetteShawn and Mamarazzi.

Yeah some of the best places in NY are not the city. My family has a house out west, about an hour south of Rochester and it's beautiful out there.

iKeith went to West Point and I'd love to visit that whole area if I ever go back. And visit you. :)

Dorky comment of the day: I was probably about 14ish.-Remember the scene in Robin Hood (the one with Kevin Costner) and there was a wedding in the woods. It was gorgeous in my eyes. THEN, I read or saw somewhere that upper NY was like that. Woodsy, Treesy, Lovely. So, that was the dealio--- I wanted my wedding in upper state NY with the falling leaves, trees and the fallish feel. - HA!!!
Ok.. My name is Amy and I'm a dork.
BTW-- got married in Indiana.

have a FAB day!!

I've been to NYC--had family there--and they brought me home via Niagara Falls--loved them. Also the Hudson River Valley and West Point were beautiful.
I was a late bloomer too--but my first kiss was not the guy I'm kissing now--lucky you, finding him on the first try.

I may have adult ADD too. So sad really.

Ambition. That's a good one! Maybe I could exercise more. The summer has me not wanting to do much.

How funny that you still kiss that boy! I love that!

I don't know much about that show so I should google it. I want to have serious conversations about it too. And I hear ya on Ashley being a train wreck. Is it me or does she walk funny?

haha! Adult ADD! I think I have it!! I can be looking at clothes on the Net, then suddenly I'm searching for tickets to a concert, and not quite sure how I got there... lol

I'd love to go back to New York sometime - I went on a high school trip to NYC, but if I went back, I'd like to visit other parts of the state, not just the city!!

When I read hardcore Adult, my mind went to porn... and then it said ADD... OOOOOOH.
Now see. I would love to see the buildings and the some of the chaos of the NYC and do all the touristy things. And then see what else NY has to offer.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go to NYC.. I have been to Boston-- and it was pretty cool-- love the accents.. I could use a pill for motivation-- ambition, whatever-- just hate my job and wish I could be motivated to find a better one ASAP!

Yay! A fellow adult ADD-er. I usually have anywhere from 5 to 12 tabs open in my browser and bounce around to all of them, while cleaning the kitchen, cleaning out a closet and mowing the lawn. That's something else I want a pill for. And not a crack pill either, LOL.

I think the internet encourages add. There is just too much info out there to take in! Boston sounds like a lot of fun. I like the pill for ambition idea. I would definitely make more money if I had that!

I would love to see NYC but I think it would honestly overwhelm me. I would get freaked after a bit. Kind of like Las Vegas.
Upstate NY would be gorgeous and remind me of home, I bet! Lake Placid. Remember that movie?? Betty White feeding cows to whatever that monster was in the lake. LOLO

WTHeck is LOLO?

I would visit ya! I've been to NY a few times and have only been to Buffalo, and Olean oh and Allighany (that's where my Uncle lives). Oh, and I did go to Cuba Lake. That was awesome! My Dad is from PA, close to the NY boarder. I'd love to see more of NY though!

UGH Doesn't Ashley make you so mad?? I haven't got to talk to you about what's been going on. Here's why I think all that Bentley Crap is a Show thing....just show because she went on and on about him every episode until he shows up and tells her it won't work out with them....didn't tell her anything like she wasn't his type or all that smack he talked on the show....and all of a sudden she's mad and is like I have closure...ok whatever ....not buying it. All that was for TV...it's still a tv show and they have to get viewers. I'll be surprised with whoever she picks ultimately I don't think it's going to last.

a pill for ambition would be awesome! and fun fact: I lived in maryland when I was little {like moved back south when I was 3} and have never been above the Mason-Dixon line since. Weird, I know. NYC is on my to do list.

Every time I went to NY (which was a lot when I was working), I always want to go outside of the city and really get to see NY - hopefully one day!

I've been to NY, just not the city. Family is in Watertown area. I had childhood ADD and I have adult ADD. Mine's so bad that by the time I open a new browser, my mind has already skipped to 2 other things to look up.

Unknown said...

Haha I am pretty sure if they diagnosed back in the day I'd be ADD labeled - everyone used to say I was like a hyperactive flea on speed.

I was born in upstate NY but I love the city- then again- shopping and restaurants and clubbing were what I went for so - and I didn't sleep so for me it works.
