Fat Ass Friday (Saturday)


I know you're probably thinking, "Why can't she manage to spit this out on Fridays like she's supposed to?"  But...I had to babysit last night!  And...my Friday work hours are devoted to blog hopping from the Friday Confessional sooooooo...

Brandy already told me it was OK.  So it must be.

Starting weight: 192.0
Last week's weight: 169.0
Current weight: 168.0
Weight +GAIN / -LOSS this week: -1.0
Total weight lost: -24.0


So if we were using the old TOPS scale it would actually have been 25 pound loss.  I know, I know, let it go...but it's still in the back of my head, haha

My official TOPS goal weight is 135, but I'd like to be somewhere between 130-135.  That leaves me with 57 pounds to lose and at 28.5 pounds I will be at halfway.  It seems SO close but SO far with this one pound here, one pound there loss.  I REALLY want to see those halfway measurements and pictures.  I haven't seen my measurements or pictures since they were done when I started, so I honestly have no clue what my measurements were.

4.5 pounds to go.

This week was not a good diet week, but in all honesty I think I was due for a less than careful week and I'll accept a lack of loss or even a gain for it come Tuesday.  Some bad foods this week:

Notice it says, "More to Share" - heh.  That was 510 calories. 


For dinner Thursday I had that.   920 calories - that's about half a day's worth of calories for someone maintaining their weight...for me it was more than 3/4 of a day's worth.  I haven't had McDonald's since November and boy was this worth it.

Looking back at the week - those are really my only "non dieting" moments.  But it IS Saturday and I AM spending the evening with a boy that loves pizza and beer (well actually *I* love pizza and beer).  My biggest vice that I'm stalking grocery stores for:



Did you know that it's already on tap in some places???

I did.

I LOVE beer, I LOVE Samuel Adams beer and in the summer, Summer Ale runs through my veins.  I'd take it through an IV if possible.  I STOCK IT UP, I don't say goodbye to Summer Ale until November (which is the last "best of" date that they make).
And just knowing that any day now, cases can appear in the grocery store...well, it really excites me.
I'll be checking the grocery store for some again this weekend.

You should probably wish for me that it's still not available.

Congrats on the weight loss! Wow, look at that amazing progress you've made! I wish we had a TOPS nearby, as everyone I know who belongs has had positive results. :)

Also, for beer, I've been told by brewers that darker beer (porters and stouts) have fewer calories, more Vitamin B, AND keep you full, longer...just fyi. :)

My vice is Coke. That is the hardest thing for me to give up when I'm dieting. On a bad day, I want a coke soooo bad. It's my chocolate. My feel good medicine.
